Spiritual Direction

Christian Spiritual Direction is a centuries-old practice, whereby one Christian helps another grow in awareness of God's presence, truth, work, and love. This is a voluntary, interpersonal relationship with a trained and confidential listener (Spiritual Director) who journeys alongside an individual, for the purpose of encouraging one's attention to God's personal communication and additionally the individual's response in prayer. The relationship and spiritual discipline of spiritual direction is encouraging in any season of life but is especially helpful when one is encountering spiritual uncertainty. Christian spiritual direction is grounded in Biblical truth, experiential in nature, spiritual discernment, and seeks to grow and mature the individual towards greater intimacy with God.

I am the vine, you are the branches; He who abides in me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
— John 15:5
